Short answer: NO.
Using font for a logo is very risky from licensing on one hand, and is very questionable for branding on the other hand. You should go really deep into font EULA to understand if the typeface produced by the font could be used as a logo.
Does EULA allows the logo to be registered and protected as a trademark? Shure, there will be no easy answers. Otherwise it’s mentioned by the rights owner) it is allowed for logo usage with basic (desktop) license. And the great question is why do you want your logo to look like other logotypes?
Of course, there are different cases. Sometimes you’re tough on budget or trying to make an accent on a mark not a logo. So feel free to consult with us. It’s free*
